CHAMPION SCULLER
WELCOMED AT HOME TOWN From Our Own Correspondent TAURANGA, Today. XX . Turner, winner of the champion sculls and C. Haun, who represented the Tauranga Rowing Club at Picton, returned today and were met by the Xlayor, Mr. B. C. Robbins, and residents. Turner was congratulated on his sucess and hearty cheers were given for both. At 3 p.m. the champion was given a civic reception at the Town Hall, where , a large number of residents assembled. Addresses xvere given by the Xlayor and Xlr. Ivor 3", president of the Rowing Club, and others. Turner, on rising to reply, had a great ovation.
