SATURDAY’S RACES ON WHAU Saturday next will be Auckland’s big rowing day. when, for the second time, the provincial chan>pionships will be rowed on the Whau River. The first race will begin at 1.30 p.m. Entries are good and a high standard of rowing should result in an excellent day’s sport. Five crews have entered in the senior class. Buses will leave town at frequent after 12.15 p.m. and a feeder service will also be run from the railway station at Avondale.
