WELCOME HOME TO j NATIONAL CHAMPION- l j SHIP REPRESENTATIVES j NORTH SHORE FUNCTION The Foresters’ Hall at Devcmport was crowded last evening on the occasion of the North Shore Amateur Swimming Club’s gala flannel dance to welcome back its representatives from the national championships at Greymouth. 'JUIE hall was gaily decked with streamers and the Kit Cat Band supplied the music. Mr. McKay was M.C. A Monte Carlo waltz was won by Miss B. Crosby and Mr. Edwards. During the evening an exhibition of the foxtrot was given by Miss Joan Morris and Mr. Easson, and the presentation of the prizes won at C*reymouth was made by Mr. H. Binstead. Among those present were:— Mrs. Sharp, who wore floral crepe de chine; Airs. Farquharson, in rose crepe cle chine; Aliss M. AlcDougall, who chose a lemon tennis frock; Miss Alova Jones, wearing a cream tennis frock; Miss Ethel Latta, in nile gre.en floral voile; Aliss r iorrie Latta, patterned crepe de chine irocK; Miss J. Gooding, whose frock was of apple-green ninon; Aliss Winnie q Connor, cream tennis frock; Aliss Morris, wearing green georgette: Aliss AJ.aurecn GUI, m gentian blue linen; Miss H. Hustler, wearing a pale blue tennis frock. Hill, who had on cream fuii silk; Miss F. Neil, wearing floral voile; Myrtle Greene, in apple-green and Mii sjorgrette, with diamente trimming; TUjff Linkhorn, wearing green figured georgette; Aliss S.
