CRUSHED WHILE BLASTING Press Association, * * ‘ GREY MOUTH, Monday. A gvazjer,. Mr. John . Lyes, aged about 65. was killed today at a sluicing claim at Coal Creek, near Greymouth, in which he ■worked occasionally. Mr. Lyes left home to blast some stumps near the face of the claim. The stumps fell upon him. killing hrm. His body was found by a neighbour. Mr. Lyes was a single man.
