STEREOSCOPIC FILM
R.K.O. TO TRY NEW INVENTION Consummation of a deal by R.K.O. Productions with George K. Spoor and Bergren, co-inventors of the wide stereoscopic film, whereby R.K.O. acquires rights to this process, is announced by Joseph I. Schnitzer, president of Radio Pictures. The Spoor-Bergren process will enable R.K.Q. to present important forthcoming productions on a screen more than double present width, and proportionately high. Present plans call i°r its appearance shortly. Experts have announced the Spoor system the finest thus far developed, stating that it more nearly approximates the third dimension than any other process in the wide field thus far presented. The R.K.O. Studios are already planning construction of sets and the installation of cameras and accessorles to utilise this amazing process. Mr. stresses the point that closeup* under the Spoor-Bergren process enlarge figures -without distortion, letaining them in proportion.
