CLAY-BIRD SHOOT

The Metropolitan Gun Club held the Auckland provincial clay-bird championship. and a series of open sweepstakes, on Saturday. Weather conditions were bad. especially during the earlier matches. The championship was won by C. Seddon. of Hamilton, with 20 out or 23. a very creditable performance cor* were present from all districts between sidering the conditions. CITY CLUB’S SHOOT Threatening weather conditions resulted in a small attendance at the City Rifle Club’s shoot on Saturday Although no rain fell a fish-tail wind and mist militated against good scores.
