From Our Own Correspondent WAIHI. .Today. As a sequel to an alarm which resulted in the Waihi Fire Brigade being called out late last evening, two young men appeared before Mr. P. G. Brady, J.P.. in the Waihi Police Court this morning charged with having wilfully given a false alarm. On the application of Sergeant D. L Calwell, the accused were remanded till next Friday. Bail was allowed and they were ordered to report to the police daily. An order for suppression of names in the meantime was also made.
