SHORTAGE OF HOUSES

POSITION AT HAMILTON From Our Own Correspondent HAMILTON, Today. There is a distinct shortage of houses in Hamilton at present. Inquiries from leading agents and auctioneers show it is impossible to acquire immediately a house for rental purposes. Further evidence of this is given by the fact, that the first sales by auction of sections for a considerable time were effected last evening, when five out of 12 blocks at Frankton were cleared for cash.
