TWO BANKRUPT MERCHANTS Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Today. At an adjourned meeting of creditors in the bankrupt estate of Leslie Jame 3 Roache and George Edward Stokes, merchants, of Christchurch, the following resolution was carried: "That the papers be put into the hands of the Crown Solicitor with a view to taking criminal proceedings.” The official assignee said the debts totalled over £4,000, the prospects of a dividend were poor and the books had been kept carelessly.
