The Whangarei Amateur Swimming Club held a carnival last evening, and the result is as follows:—Men’s 100 yards: Bevington (9sec), 1; F. Collins (16sec), 2; Redwood (2sec), 3. Eight starters. Women’s 66 2-S yards: I. Spring (17sec), 1; V. Smeal (ilsec), 2; B. CUT (15sec), 3. Six starters. There was a good attendance of spectators and some fine form was produced by those competing*
