FLIGHT FROM WELLINGTON TO CHRISTCHURCH BAD CROSSING Of S-T-RAPT Press Association BLENHEIM, Today. Mr. F. C. Chichester, flying his own Moth, accompanied by Air. P. do Bathe Brandon and Mr. Goodwin, flying an Avro Avian, on their way from Wellington to Christchurch, had a terrible experience crossing the Strait, They had to pass through very thick weather and heavy rain reduced th visibility to nothing. They flew most ol' the distance 10ft off the water and ultimately made a , good landing at Woodburn. They are weather-bound there.
