MISS MILLER BREAKS RECORD
Press Association WELLINGTON, Thursday. The Wellington Centre swimming championships were held at Lower Hutt this evening. Miss K. Miller wc»n the 100 yards women’s championship race in 73 3-ss, breaking her own centre record by 2s. .Miss M. House won the 50 yards junior girls’ race in 35 l-ss, a centre record. K. Spry retained the 220 yards centre breaststroke championship. His time was 3m 235. Other results were: IOOYds. Intermediate Boys’ Championship.—B. Gallete, 1. Time, 665. . IOOYds.
