CONSTABLE ARRESTS INTRUDER

APPEARANCE IN COURT Press Association WELLINGTON, Today. Three times during the last week the premises of Watchman Bros., grocers, on the main road l at Karori, were burgled, but on Wednesday night Constable Catternach hid in the building, and about midnight caught an intruder who had entered the shop from the rear door. Yesterday Robert Ernins Owens, a labourer, aged 28, appeared in the Magistrate's Court on a charge of breaking and entering. Accused was remanded till Wednesday next.
