NEW PICTURES AT LYRIC

Two big comedies are being shown on the same programme at the Lyric Theatre. The first is “Sporting Goods,” introducing Richard Dix as a travelling salesman for ultra-fashionable sporting clothes, who has unexpected success with a big buyer, played by Ford Sterling. The second picture is “The Goodbye Kiss,” a wartime story treated in a breezy manner by Mack Se mett, and starring a number of new and capable young players.

Lois Moran, who was recently signed to a long term contract by Joseph M. Schenck, will appear in “Bride 66 ” Arthur Hammerstein's first musical production for the screen. In the cast with Miss Moran will be Dorothy Dalton (Mrs. Arthur Hammerstein) and Joseph Macauley, of musical comedy fame. *
