“FLYING MARINE” AT GRAND
Something distinctly unusual in the way of flying pictures is “The Flying Marine,” the enjoyable talking film starring Ben Lyon .which is now at the Grand Theatre. The central figure is Steve Moran, an ex-marine, who is engaged at his brother’s airport. His ability to perform stunts in the air brings him to the notice of a moving picture director, who later employs him. Many startling incidents ensue, and the young man’s adventures make a gripping story. Shirley Mason and Jason Robards appear to advantage in subsidiary roles. The complementary programme includes enjoyable talkie supports.
