CLUE TO KOUTEPOFF
FRENCH DETECTIVE ON SCENT IN POLAND
CHAUFFEUR DEAD WARSAW, Wednesday. M. Pierre Duroi, an eminent French detective, has arrived at Warsaw in pursuit of clues connecting Poland with the disappearance of General Koutepoff. *>The body of a Russian, named Lamboff, formerly one of the missing general’s most trusted chauffeurs, was found recently in a lavatory at Warsaw, He had come here from Paris, and had a passport issued by the Soviet Embassy in the French capital. It is not clear whether the chauffeur’s death was due to murder or to suicide.
