ROTORUA NOTES

Sir Joseph Ward has been an interested spectator at the Rotorua bowling greens, and has derived much enjoyment from watching the games. He considers that the new developments at the Guthrie Settlement are not onlj' satisfactory, but are on business lines. Much building is groing on here at present. Permits have been issued for buildings A'alued at £3.330 10s. Work in connection with the Borough Council sewerage scheme is being commenced. Tenders have been called for the ‘ provision of man-hole units.
