FLOUNCED WEDDING GOWN

PRETTY CEREMONY AT KAMO KERR—BENOIT Th * marriage was celebrated at the Kamo Presbyterian Church of Desiree Benoit, eldest daughter of Mrs Benoit, of Kamo, to David Stanley Kerr, of Whangarei Heads and late of Paeroa. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. M. J. Byrt, of Mangapai. while Mrs. Anderson, of Whan Valley, presided at the organ. The bride, -who was given away by Air. J. Donaldson, wore a dainty frock of ivory georgette with flounced skirt dipping at the back. Her beautiful veil was an old family heirloom. This was head in place with a wreath of orango blossoms, and she carried a shower bouquet of pale pink and white flowers. In attendance as bridesmaid was Aliss Omerine Benoit, sister of the bride. Six© wore a prettv sleeveless frock of rose georgette, with a tiered skirt and crinoline hat to match. She carried a shower bouquet of flowers to tone. The bridegroom was attended by Air. J. Bradley as best man. After the ceremony a reception was held at the Coronation Tearooms, where Airs. Benoit received the guests in a frock of navy crepe de chine with a hat to tone. She carried a bouquet ox mauve and blue flowers.
