VAN-DRIVER'S TRIAL

After four hours’ deliberation, the jury in the Supreme Court yesterday which tried William David Weller on a charge of negligently driving a motor-van, causing death, failed to agree. Formal application for a third trial was made by the Crown Prosecutor, Mr. Meredith, who added, however. that the. question of entering a nolle prosequi would be considered. Bail was allowed accused as formerly.
