Miss K. Holmes has returned to the Gisborne district to resume her teaching duties after the Christmas vacation.
Mrs. Rish worth and family are back home after spending the holiday season at their Onerahi residence.
Miss King, former infant mistress at the Whangarei Public School, is having an extended stay in Sydney.
Mrs. A. M. Steadman, who has been spending a holiday at Parua Bay, is again in residence at Main Avenue.
Mrs. Carter, of the Hutt, Wellington, who has been visiting her mother, Mrs. A. R. Crane, of Kamo, returned home this week,
Mrs. Milton and Mrs. Torrance, who have been visiting Whangarei for the croquet tournament, were the guests of Mrs. IT. Webster, of Norfolk Street.
Mr. and Mrs. Hosking, of Avondale, who have been visiting Whangarei and the North during the month, motored through to Auckland on Monday.
Miss G. Gibson returned by express on Thursday from a most enjoyable holiday spent with old friends in Morrinsville and St. Heliers Bay.
Miss W. Lamb returned by the express on Saturday.
Miss J. Sheffield, of Helensville, arrived by the express yesterday. She will be the guest of Mrs. Steels at the Vicarage. 1
