ATTEMPTED MURDER
CHARGE IN CHRISTCHURCH Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Today. The Supreme Court criminal sessions opened this morning. Addressing the Grand Jury, Mr. Justice Adams said the charge of attempted murder against Charles Robert Gray was related to the breaking and entering of warehouses in which accused was concerned. The jury ought to have no difficulty in regard t.o the case. The jury brought in a true bill, and Gray pleaded guilty to five counts In. connection with the shooting of Edward Hammond in July last year, including one of attempted murder. Mr. Justice Adams postponed sentence till tomorrow.
