Beach Cabaret is Popular Saturday Even ing Rendezvous The warm weather tempted many dancers to the Pirate Shippe at Milford on Saturday evening, and a delightful time was spent, Both decks were used for dancing, and the versatile pirates* orchestra played excellent dance music, the numbers being repeatedly encored. Many very charming frocks were worn. AMONG THOSE PRESENT Mrs. Lowrie McGregor wore a lilac french organdie frock with frills defining the hemline. Mrs. Hay Chapman chose an ivory crepe faille frock. Mrs. C. A. Jarman's gown of pale daffodil georgette was relieved with embroidery. Mrs. John Better son had on pale primrose georgette with diamente relief. Mrs. Potter was in a satin gown of dull bronze colour. Palm green georgette was chosen by Mrs. Carter. Mrs. Andersen was in an ivory crepe de sole frock. Miss Nathalie Burgess was in a frilled frock of pink georgette. Miss Rita Hill wore pale pompadour pink georgette and lace. Miss Nance Chambers wore a gentian blue crepe de chine frock. Miss Fitzherbert choso a frock of lavender georgette. Miss Olga MeDufC vras wearing ciel blue chiffon. Miss Edna Gill’s pretty frock was of ivory and blue figured chiffon. Miss Rose Wake had on a frock of ficelle lace over satin. Miss Dale Austen, Dunedin, wore chenille embossed georgette and tulle. Miss Speight, Hamilton, wore an embroidered frock of phlox pink. Miss Shieff had on a rose pink petalled taffeta frock. Miss Marjorie Woolley was wearing rose satin beaute and gold lame. Miss J. Griffin had on a pale flesh pink georgette frock. Miss Joyce Rowley wore palm green and ivory patterned crepe de chine. Miss Lyle Johnson’s frock was of ivory satin beaute. Miss Dora Patterson was m ivory and rose satin beaute. An ivory georgette frock swiss embroidered was chosen by Miss P. Johnson. Miss Margaret Grant’s frock was of ivory faille. Miss Phyllis Macindoe had on larkspur blue crepe de chine. Miss Nancy Patterson was In a flowered georgette frock. Miss M. Chipperfield had on a white french organde frock. Miss D. Gray was in a cream crepe fleuri suit. Miss S. Coleman’s frock was of daffodil yellow frilled georgette. Miss H. Macevoy was wearing delphinium blue crepe de chine. Miss Ruth MacNaughton wore a honeycoloured satin frock. _ Miss Gwenth MacNaughton was in a ngurec* georgette frock of autumn tonmgs. Miss J. Edwards wore a frock of citronne crepe de cihne.
