> LINKING UP MT. ALBERT AVONDALE POLL SANCTIONED The Auckland Transport Board has received advice that the tramway extension poll linking up the Avondale and Mount Albert termini has been approved by the Local Bodies Loan Board. The loan which Is for £55,400 will now have to be submitted to the ratepayers for sanction, and a poll will probably be taken at an early date. The proposed extension which will E link up the Avondale and Mount , Albert districts will entail the laying , down of a two mile track.
