SPORTSMAN CUT* The Sportsman Cup meeting to be conducted at the Domain on Saturday next by the Auckland Amateur Athletic and Cycle Club will be commenced at 2 p.m. sharp to allow those competitors who wish to attend the cricket test match at Eden Park later in the day. The programme comprises the following events: —100 yards. 220 yards, 440 yards, 800 yards, and one mile run (these five events to count points for the cup), high jump. hop. step and jump, shot putt, discus throw, and javelin throw', also half and one-mile cycle races. All events will be handicaps. Competitors must be financial members of the Auckland Amateur Athletic and Cycle Club. No charge will be made for admission to the Domain to view the sports.
