BRITISH WORKERS LOSE HEAVILY APPEAL FOR PREVENTION Reed. 9.5 a.m. LONDON, Friday Basing a case upon the Ministry of Healtli reports, the effect of common colds and influenza is found to have cost British workers 7,000,000 working days a year. Eight leading industrialists and business leaders, headed by Lord Blvth and Lord Wakefield, have issued a statement urging employers to spread a knowledge of preventives to ensure medical supervision of their workers.
