KEEN RESPONSE

SAMOA MILITARY POLICE MORE THAN 130 APPLICANTS About 130 men have applied personally at the Auckland Police Station for service with the Samoa military police. Ranging from youths of 18 to men of 45, the response so far has exceeded expectations. Only those between the ages of 22 and 32, however, will be considered. Several applications by letter have been received by Mr. W. G. Wohlmann, superintendent of police, but only those who apply personally are eligible for appointment. Applications will close on Wednesday, February 12.
