SUBSCRIPTION INCREASE
AUCKLAND LADIES’ GOLF A special meeting of the Auckland Ladies’ Golf Club was held yesterday to discuss the financial position of the club, and its relationship with the Auckland Golf Club, the body which controls the Middlemore links. Notification was received from the Auckland Golf Club that unless the terms of the agreement between the two clubs were maintained, the agreement would be terminated on October 31. The committee stressed the necessity of the annual subscription being raised to abide by the agreement with the Auckland Golf Club. After a discussion, in which some opposition to the proposal was made, the meeting decided to raise the annual subscrip -> tion by one guinea, bringing it up to £6 6s.
