AUCKLAND NEEDS OUTRIGHT WIN AGAINST WELLINGTON TO RETAIN PLUNKET SHIELD Wellington has two outright wins in this year’s Plunket Shield cricket, and that province is now leading for the trophy. The Auckland Province requires an outright win of 8 points to retain the trophy which it won last season. This match is to be played at Wellington and w’ill commence on February 21.
