ROYAL WEDDING
JAPANESE CEREMONY WITH ANCIENT RITES HOLIDAY TO SPAIN Reed. 9.5 a.m. TOKYO, Tuesday. A salute of 21 guns signalled the conclusion of the stately celebration, with ancient rites, at the sanctuary in the Imperial Palace of the wedding of Prince Takamatsu, the Emperor’s brother, to Miss Kikuku Tokugawa, grand-daughter of the last of the Shoguns. After visiting England the Prince and his bride will proceed to Madrid where they will present to the King of Spain the Grand Order of the Chrysanthemum.
