WOMEN’S INSTITUTE

ANNUAL MEETING OF SILVERDALE BRANCH The annual meeting of the Silverdale Women’s Institute was held recently, a large number of members attending. Mrs. Bayley, the retiring president, in speaking of the work of the institute during the past year, regretted being unable to stand again for the position of president. An interesting and helpful talk was given by Mrs. Borman, president of the Auckland Provincial Federation, an election being held at the conclusion, Mrs. Bartlett being elected president; Mrs. Bridson and Mrs. Bayley. vice-presidents; Mrs. Nicol, Mrs. McRae, Mrs. Murphy, Mrs. Worboise. Mrs. Bartholomew, Miss Cropp and Miss Bayley, committee.
