C GRADE MATCHES The following matches in the Aucklarid Lawn Tennis Association’s C grade championship have been set down for decision at Stanley Street tomorrow at 5 p.m.:—Men’s Doubles.—Semi-finals: Hickson and T.utt v. Stephens and Plant; Barfoot and McElroy v. Wood and Tonson. Final to follow immediately. Combined Doubles.—Eller and Miss Bryant v. Wilson and Miss Lloyd. Winner of above to play Mclnnes and Miss Fitzpatrick. Men’s Singles.—Semi-final: Cheal v. Teal. Combined Doubles.—Jaine and Miss Ferguson v. McElroy and Miss Baxter; Barfoot and Miss Mackie v. Wade and Miss Trayes. Winners to play off immediately afterwards, or at 5 p.m. on Friday. HOBSONVILLE WINS From Our Own Correspondent HOBSONVILLE, Today. Playing in tho M. K. Warren Cup competition, the llobsonville Lawn Tennis Club’s team defeated Riverhead by nine sets to four at llobsonville. Following are the results, Riverhead players being mentioned first: Men’s Singles.—R. Gould beat AT. Clark, 9—4; B. Levy beat M. Shaw, 9—5; W. McKibbin lost to A. Armistead, 5 —9; R. Hall beat S. Wiseley, 9—6. Men’s Doubles.—Gould and Levy beat Clark and Shaw, 9 —6; McKibbin and Hall lost to Armistead and Wiseley, 4—9; S. Wathen and G. Levy lost to Nicklin and Gunn, 5—9.
