FAREWELL TO DR. LISTON

FUNCTION TO BE HELD AT ST. BENEDICT’S Arrangements for a farewell function to be given by the parishioners of St. Benedict’s to the Bight Rev. Dr. Liston Bishop of Auckland, were made at a meeting of parishioners of the church on Sunday. Since he came to Auckland several years ago as co-adjutor bishop, Dr. Liston has resided at St. Benedict’s Presbytery, and the parishioners have had the benefit of his labours in the services of the church and in the parish activities generally. Toward the end of February Dr. Liston will go into residence at Bishop’s House, New Street. Ponsonby. and St. Benedict s parishioners will part with their beloved prelate with much regret. The farewell, ceremony will be of a purely parochial nature.
