AN OPTIMISTIC NOTE

V N optimistic note was struck by Mr. G. C. Creagh, chairman of the Auckland Stock Exchange, during a talk with a SUN man this morning. Advices from Australia indicated that the end of the present downward trend of prices for sound industrial and bank shares was not far away, said Mr. Creagh. Small investors would be well advised not to sell at the moment if they could afford to hold. Sellers at the moment only helped to make a weak market weaker.
