RACEHORSES SOLD MESSRS. J. AND J. PATERSON’S STUD 250 GUINEAS FOR FULL MEASURE Top price at the sale at Takapuna today of Messrs. J. and J. Paterson’s stud was brought by the two-year-old Full Measure, who fell to the b d of the Bienheim sportsman, Mr. J. J. Corry. for 250 guineas. Full Measure finished third in the I two-year-old race at Takapuna on ! Wednesday, and is a promising sort. ! He is by Surveyor from Thurence. The Auckland sportsman, Mr. N. Y\ ade, went to 150 guineas for the pro- • nil sing maiden performer. On Top ! (Surveyor—Te Moti). Next best price realised was 123 j guineas for the brood mare Katliarimt * (Eudorus—Wasa), with chestnut colt i toal by Surveyor arid covered by the I same sire, Mr. Corry being the' purchaser. Mr. Corry also purchased the year- ■ ling colt by Surveyor from Juanna for 40 guineas, and the brood mare Penn 1-u (Lucullus—Peng wen), also fell to him for 1G guineas.
