ROYAL YACHT SQUADRON HORTON BEQUEST RACE A general handicap for keel yachts will be the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron’s principal race tomorrow afternoon. The contest is for the Horton bequest of £2O. Second prize is £7, third £3 and fourth £l. MANUKAU YACHT CLUB YACHT AND LAUNCH EVENTS Harbour races for yachts and launches will be held tomorrow afternoon by the Manukau Yacht and Motorbead Club over No. 2 course. Yachts will start at 2.15, and launches five minutes after the scratch yacht. Launches will be steered by women members. Handicaps are as follow: Z Class —Tuatea (skipper Grant), scr; Nor wilson (Baker), 15s; Comet (McIntosh), 30s. Yachts.—Drone, scr; Daphne, 131 m; Xyria, 23m; Betty, 245; Wild Wave, 25m; Sea Toiler, 25m; Janet, 31m; Mist Maid, ,39m. MANUKAU CRUISING CLUB ENTRIES AND HANDICAPS The Manukau Cruising Club has a programme of harbour races for yachts, and launches tomorrow afternoon. The ewmts will start on No. 1 course and finish on No. 2. Yachts will start at 2.30 and the launches at 2.45. The Fearon Cup will be raced for by 18-footers.
