EXTRA POWER FROM ARAPUNI
T>Y the end of February the -*-> Auckland Electric Power Board will take over its extra supply of power from Arapuni. This means that the station at King's Wharf will, be closed down, but it will be kept as a standby plant and will act as an insurance against any breakdown. Should the suppiy of power from Arapuni fail at any time, power will be provided from King's Wharf station.
