RACES AT MANGANESE POINT From Our Oivn Correspondent WHANGAREI, Today. The YVhangarei Cruising: Club held its annual regatta at Manganese Point yesterday afternoon. The weather was excellent, with a full sail souwesterly breeze. Results: Trophy Race, 14-foot Yachts. —Snipe, scr, 1; Ranger, llmin, 2; Dorothy, 2min, 14-footer Championship*.—Snipe. Prior to the start of this race Ranger capsized twice. Second 14-footer. —Dorothy, scr, 1; All Black, scr, 2. 22-Footer Championship and General Handicap Combined.—Rahiri finished first and won the championship with Rmia, Hilda and Decima in that order. Corrected times placed Hilda 1, Rahiri 2, Rona 3. Rahiri won by a bowsprit. 7-Foot Yacht Championship.—Sea Toy, 1; Marguerite, 2; Akaroa, 3.
