YOUNG GIRL SCALPED
HAIR CAUGHT IN GRIP OF MACHINE TERRIFYING ORDEAL Reed. 11 a.m. MELBOURNE, Today. Catherine Thorpe, aged 17, had a terrifying experience when her hair was caught in the grip of a machine in a cereal factory. She was completely scalped before her workmates could switch off the power. She was rushed to the hospite.f in a critical condition. She remained conscious throughout.
