WRESTLING FIXTURE
MATCH ON FEBRUARY 10 A midsummer wrestling match will be staged at the Town Hall on Monday evening, February 10, when George Walker, the Canadian heavy-weight champion, will meet Fred Ebert, the Austrian, who has been seeking matches in New Zealand. The unsettled state of the weather has caused the abandonment of all idea of staging the contest in the open air, which it was at first- hoped to do.
