APPEAL FOR FUNDS
GRAMMAR SCHOOL LIBRARY The executive of the Auckland Grammar Old Boys’ Association is appealing to old boys for more funds for the purpose of erecting a library building at the Auckland Grammar School, as the old boys’ memorial of the diamond jubilee of the school, which was celebrated last year. The association lias already raised £§oo, and has been invited by the Minister of Education, the Hon. M. Atmore, to submit proposals to Cabinet for a subsidy on a pound for pound basis. It is intended to spend £2,000 and upward upon the building, which will be a distinct adjunct to the school.
