DARGAVILLE FIXTURE ENTRIES DUE ON FRIDAY The Dargaville Racing Club’s summer meeting is fixed to be held on Saturday and Monday, February 22 and 24. The programme issued in connection with the meeting comprises 16 events, with prize-money to the amount of £1,285. The Dargaville Cup of £2OO (li miles) is the leading event of the first day, and the President’s Handicap of £175 (nine furlongs) is the principal race of the second day. The Avoca Handicap and the Ruawai Handicap, which stand out as the leading sp vit events, are respectively worth £IOO. Nominations close next Friday, January 31, at 5 p.m., and may be lodged either with the secretary, Mr. J. P. Stanaway, Dargaville, or with Messrs. Blomfield and Company, High Street, Auckland.
