MAN BADLY INJURED STRUCK HEAD ON PUNT Severe head Injuries were received by Mr. George Mills, of 59 Napier Street, when he fell from Queen’s Wharf on to a punt this morning. Difficulty was experienced in getting him ashore from the punt, which was well down below the level of the wharf, and eventually the launch Paikea, which was at the private launch steps, came to the aid of the St. John Ambulance and transported the injured man to the steps. He was taken to the Auckland Public Hospital in the ambulance and his condition is reported to be serious.
