SOUTH AFRICA ACCEPTS
OPTIONAL CLAUSE IN WORLD COURT Reed. 11.30 a.m. CAPETOWN, Mon. The Assembly adopted the motion of the Premier, General J. B. Hertzog, confirming the Government’s acceptance of the optional clause in the World Court of Justice. “It is unthinkable,” said Hertzog, “that members of a British Commonwealth, owing allegiance to the same King, should go to war with each other.”
