Miss Harrowell, of Hamilton, is I visiting Auckland. Mrs. Washbournc, of Kiwitahi, is on a visit to Auckland. Mrs. Cecil Wood, of Christchurch, is staying in Auckland. ♦ * * Miss Moore-Wright has returned to Auckland from Hastings. Mrs. J. H. Wyatt, of Morrinsville, is spending a holiday in Auckland. # * * Miss Lowden, of Ngaruawahia, has gone to Braeburn for a short visit. Miss M. Hay, of Auckland, is the guest of Mrs. Gifford in Hamilton. Mrs. T. Stanley, of Te Aroha, is visiting her daughter, Mrs. Dent, in Auckland. Mrs. W. Tanner has returned to Hamilton from a holiday at Brown’s Bay. Mrs. A. M. Seales and Miss Seales, of Morrinsville, have returned from a visit to Auckland and Tauranga. Miss Kina Johnson, of Ngaruawahia, has returned from a holiday spent with her cousin, Mrs. Allen, Remuera. Mr. and Mrs. A. Stewart, of Matamata, have motored to Auckland, where they will spend a short holiday. Mrs. J. W. Williamson, Mayoress of Takapuna, and family return by the Maunganui tomorrow after a month’s holiday in Sydney. Mr. and Mrs. Syllings, of Wellington, Mr. and Mrs. V. Priest, of. Hamilton, and Mr. and Mrs. M. Devich, of Morrinsville, are staying at the Royal Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. W. Machin, of Christchurch, Mr. and Mrs. J. O’Hare, of Sydney, and Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Fylmer, of U.S.A., are guests at the Hotel Cargen. Mr. and Mrs. W. Machin, and Miss Machin, of Christchurch, are leaving by the Niagara tomorrow, to connect with the Orsova for England. They expect to be absent about eight months.
