FINE WEATHER FAVOURS ORGANISATIONS SUCCESSFUL EVENTS The sudden access of fine weather has been an excellent thing for picnickers. During- the week-end, Motuihi and Pine islands were the scenes of several successful outings. At the New Zealand Farmers’ Fertiliser Company’s picnic on Saturday at Motuihi Mr. W. J. Jordan, M.P. for Manukau, Mr. M. Harding, a director of the company, and Mrs. Harding were among a large attendance. The employees of the company conducted the picnic. A sports programme was arranged by the committee.
