BOY’S LEG BROKEN

COLLISION WITH MOTOR Soon after 5.30 o’clock this afternoon Sidney Haslip, aged 14, of 20 West Street, Newton, had a leg broken in a collision with a motor-lorry. The lad was riding a bicycle along Albert Terrace. The motor vehicle was coming from Queen Street up Durham Street and was turning into Albert Street, when it collided with the boy. Haslip was taken to the Hospital by the St. John Ambulance.
