FIRE NEAR TAURANGA
RESIDENCE DESTROYED Special to THE SUN TAURANGA, Thursday. Fire destroyed a four-roomed house in Oropi Road, occupied by Air. B. Guy and family, and owned by the Tauranga Tobacco and Citrus Company, this morning. A son of Mr. and Airs. Guy discovered the house in flames. He warned his parents, who escaped with a few ciothes. The house was insured for £240 with the New Zealand Office and the furniture for £2OO in the same office.
