From Our Own Correspondent TAURANGA, Wednesday. The Tauranga Rowing Club will be represented at the New Zealand Rowing Association’s championship meeting to be held at Picton in February. The present single-scull champion. W Turner, will defend the championship, and W. Turner and C. Hound have entered for the pairs event. Both men are putting good times at pracliee. and the club is looking forward with every confidence for a win by its representative. A party of touring bowlers consisting of Lawrie, Jamieson, Blake and Moncrieff from Pukekohe. arrived here on Monday and spent the afternoon ° n the Tauranga South green, where they were entertained by a match Against the following team:—Robbins. L’lemson and Rankin. The game resulted in a win for the visitors by 2C points to 16.
