THE MATIN REPRINTS SUN’S WELCOME TO TOURVILLE AN APPRECIATIVE FRENCHMAN “The enthusiastic welcome accorded the cruiser Tourviile on its visit to New Zealand, and the greeting published by The Sun, which was reprinted in our newspaper. ‘Le Matin.’ have touched the hearts of Frenchmen, particularly the Parisians. Permit me to tell you how greatly I was moved by the sentiments expressed in your paper, and to thank you." So writes M. Adolplie-Louis Meyrat, of 14 Rue Hoche, Chatillon, Seine, France. M. Meyrat seeks information of his elder brother. Paul-Louis Meyrat (called also Paul Louis), who was born on July 22. 1557, at Courtelary. Jura-Bernois, Switzerland, son of Adolphe-Louis Meyrat and Ataiio Meyrat (nde Tissot). The e Meyrat went to Levuka and cam Auckland in 1885. M. Adol ■ Louis Meyrat has not heard of :v----brother since then, and is anxiou: obtain any information that will at him to discover what has happe: to him.
