United. r.i.—By Telegraph—Copyright A bombshell thrown from Australia lias devastated the migration department at Australia House. It is reliably understood that Mr. J. T. Barnes. Director of Immigration and Settlement at Australia House, has received three months* notice of the termination of his engagement. The permanent staff also has received notice, except seven routine employees who arc declared to be supporters of the Labour Party.
